Science at Home: Waves and Sound

University of Manchester Community Festival 18-20 June 2021

​What can a balloon tell us about sound and vibration? What happens when you drop a suspended slinky? Can you make sprinkles dance using sound?

We have collected six fun activities for this year's University of Manchester Community Festival!  Using everyday household objects you can follow along with our online demonstrations to explore waves and sound.
